The Columbia Shuswap Invasive Species Society (CSISS) invites you to embark on an Edible Invasives Plant Identification walk, where we will explore the Raven Foreshore trail in Salmon Arm, uncovering both hidden and not-so-hidden plants and discovering their potential uses.
During this 1 hour hike, we will walk the Salmon Arm Bay foreshore trail, immersing ourselves in the natural beauty of the Columbia-Shuswap region. Led by knowledgeable guides from CSISS, we will learn about the invasive plant species that have taken root in this area and their impact on the local ecosystem.
The highlight of the walk will be the opportunity to identify edible invasive plants and explore their potential culinary uses.
