It’s free to dispose of invasive plants at landfills within the Columbia Shuswap Regional District.
- Separate invasive plants from regular yard waste and notify the attendant that you have invasive plants.
- Avoid adding invasive plants to your compost pile as they often keep growing and can quickly re-establish.
Noxious weeds AND soil infested with noxious weeds must be disposed of in the garbage rather than the organic waste pile.
