Disc Golf Course Community Weed Pull with Wildsight Golden
Join the Columbia Shuswap Invasive Species Society and Wildsight Golden for a community weed pull at Golden’s Disc Golf course!
Summer is here, and it’s time once again for our Annual Community Weed Pull Event! Please join us in continuing last year’s efforts in removing invasive species at Hole #1. Strong community involvement like this means we can work toward reducing or stopping the spread of invasive plant species and their threat to local biodiversity. This family-friendly event is an excellent opportunity to learn more about invasive plants. Participants will learn how to identify, control, and properly dispose of invasive plants.
We look forward to meeting you, sharing knowledge, and working together to support our local native biodiversity!
