Join us for an Invasive Weed Pull and learn about the impact of invasive species on our local trails and environment.

This event is a joint effort between the Columbia Shuswap Invasive Species Society, the Shuswap Naturalist Club, The Nature Trust of BC, and the Salmon Arm Bay Nature Enhancement Society.
Event Highlights:
Hands-on weed pulling activity
Educational sessions on invasive plants and their effects on our ecosystems
Opportunities to connect with like-minded community members and organizations
What to Bring:
-Gardening gloves (we will have some provided)
-Hat and sunscreen
-Water bottle
-Sturdy footwear
No prior experience is required—just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to make a difference! We’ll provide all necessary tools and a brief orientation on identifying and removing invasive species.
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the health of our local environment, learn more about the issues we face, and enjoy a morning outdoors. Everyone is welcome, from individuals to families.
