CSISS invites you to a community weed pull at Belvidere Park in Enderby!

When: Saturday 21st September, 9am-12pm

What: Removing invasive species, including burdock, hounds tounge, , goats beard, sulphur cinquefoil, spotted knapweed, chicory and other common invasive species.
Why Participate?

Invasive plants outcompete native species, disrupt wildlife habitats, and alter ecosystems. By participating in this event, you’ll be helping to preserve the natural beauty and biodiversity of the Enderby area. Plus, it’s a great way to meet like-minded people, learn about local ecology, and enjoy the outdoors.

  • What to Bring:
  • Gloves (if you have them)
  • Water bottle
  • Sunscreen and hat
  • Sturdy footwear
  • Enthusiasm for protecting our environment

 

We’ll provide all the necessary tools and guidance to ensure a safe and effective weed pull.

No prior experience is required—just a willingness to get your hands dirty for a good cause!
