Join us for Reconcili-Action

Join the Neskonlith Indian Band and Sxweteméllp Outdoor Learning Foundation for meaningful action on National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. We will be supporting Indigenous land-based learning and revitalization by removing the invasive Virginia Creeper from trail edges to leave space for and re-introduce native species.

The weed pull will occur on Wednesday, September 30th from 1 to 4pm at the Sxweteméllp Village, 3277 – 1 Avenue SW, Salmon Arm.

At 4pm, Louis Thomas will present a few words.

All ages are welcome, no experience necessary! Tools, gloves, and refreshments will be provided; plus prizes!
