Join us for an exciting and impactful event as the Columbia Shuswap Invasive Species Society (CSISS) collaborates with the Invasive Species Council of BC (ISCBC) for a Weed Pull at the beautiful Shuswap Lake Provincial Park.

What to Expect: This hands-on event will bring together individuals passionate about preserving our natural environment. By participating in the Weed Pull, you’ll have the opportunity to directly contribute to the health and biodiversity of the Shuswap Lake ecosystem. Working together, we can make a positive impact and protect our native flora and fauna from the threats posed by invasive species.

Interactive Trailer by ISCBC: Don’t miss the chance to explore the interactive new trailer brought by the Invasive Species Council of BC. This engaging experience will provide valuable insights into invasive species management and conservation efforts, adding an educational aspect to our event.

What to Bring:

  • Gloves (to protect your hands during the weed removal process)
  • Hand tools (such as trowels, weed pullers, etc., if you have them)
  • Sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses)
  • Your willingness to learn and make a difference in our environment

This event is open to all ages and skill levels. No prior experience is necessary!
